2010 Season
Chris Price and Todd Stone just got back today from the National Public Safety Football league meeting in Las Vegas. It was a good meeting and we really enjoyed the 2 days working with the 24 other teams in the league. Thanks for all your help
Roanoke drew three games for the 2010 season in the NPSFL. We are a probationary team and have to prove ourselves now.
April 24, 2010 Roanoke vs D.C. Generals Home game
May 8, 2010 Roanoke vs Orlando Guardians Away Game
June 5, 2010 Roanoke vs Charlotte Cobras Away Game
Guys, now is the time to get the time off to be at the games or trade time with someone. You do not want to miss the fun.
I was a little Worried about playing in this league in the beginning but after meeting with all the teams in the league and spending the last few days networking with them, I feel much better, Chris and I have made some new friends. The people at this meeting are some of the best and brightest public safety professionals in this country and it was a pleasure meeting you all!
We are off and running!
The Roanoke Bravest Football club had their first team meeting tonight at the Roanoke Regional Training center. There were 19 players at the meeting. 11 players had called to say they could not be here tonight and there were 9 players working on shift. 67 people have signed up to play so the turnout was much lower than we expected. The only weakness so far is our offensive line. We have some work to do and some recruiting in that area. If you are interested in playing public safety football, give us a call.
League Meeting in Las Vegas
Chris Price and Todd Stone leave Tomorrow October 21 for Las Vegas for the annual National public safety Football League meeting. The meeting is set to vote on any rule changes and to discuss business of the league. Team dues will be paid and teams will set the 2010 Game schedule. Chris and Todd will return to Roanoke on Saturday October 24 and the Roanoke Bravest Football team will know who and where they will be playing! Stay Tuned
