I would like to thank Coach Frank Miriello From Washington and lee’s Football program for their donation today of 10 pairs of shoulder pads. After I take a trip down to UVA next week this will give us plenty of shoulder pads for the Roanoke Rampage Fire and police football team. Go Generals!!!

Media Blitz!

Danny and Zack with K 92 are Working with the Roanoke Rampage Fire and Police football teamto come on their morning show and promote Rampage football. They would like to include us into their Friday morning wheel contest which i think would be a lot of fun. I would like to take a hand full of players over when they give me a date and help get our name out. Thanks to Danny and Zack and we look forward to coming by!

Football Practice.

We will practice at Washington park football field this Monday (1-18-10 ) from 6 pm till 9pm. I have not finished the insurance paper work for Salem. Please make every effort to be there, We will be working on our offensive scheme. They are calling for rain this weekend.So Monday will be wet, Temp will be around 35 degrees, Be prepared.

2010 Roster updated.

I would like to apologize to #19 Wes Mitchell and #28 Ronald Robinson I have left them off the roster the last 3 times I updated it. Sorry guys.

Special Thanks to Virginia Tech

The Roanoke Rampage Fire and Police football team would like to thank  Virginia Tech’s Football Program for their help today. We would like to give a specical thanks to Equipment Manger Lester Karlin for his help. Today we were able to get 64 pairs of Game pants for our 2010 season (NIKE, Maroon with Orange pin stripe) and 64 pairs of NFL game socks. We were also able to get 5 pairs of shoulder pads. Thanks so much for helping us get onto the field to play football for charity!

Football Practice at the EDGE!

Football practice will be held at the EDGE SPORTS PERFORMANCE CENTER tomorrow from1:00 to 3:30 pm. The Edge is on Thirlane rd next to the airport.

We will practice both days this week at the Edge, Next week we will practice both nights at the Salem high school field. (Spartan field) Spartan field is a turf field.

Anyone that would like to try out the YMCA workout room (Orange ave Branch) Give Coach Bishop a call.(You can try out the workout room and Coach Bishop can work out a special price for you, If interested) Also if you have any questions about our defensive scheme please feel free to call coach Bishop or swing by to see him.
