Football bags. (Sorry guys)
I have left you a voice mail message this morning regarding your order for football bags.
Unfortunately the order will not be going out this week. We are behind in getting our professional baseball opening day orders out and our people have been working overtime, nights and weekends to catch up but it just has been a roller coaster this year with many additional orders we were not expecting.
I have hired additional and temporary people to help out but the skill of operating a walking foot sewing machine is not wide spread in the US as it once was. Believe me, I know every able sewer with those skills in the area. They are a dying breed as young women are no longer being taught to sew as they once were let alone on these complicated heavy duty commercial machines. Most of that work is now done overseas. There are some people who can operate a smaller type machine to make clothing but that is not the same machine nor even approaching the same skill.
For these reasons we are behind this year in delivering our orders. This is always the big rush time here but this year is even more so. After May 1, things slow down and we are able to meet orders in 2-4 weeks without any problem. But the first three months of the year, esp March is an absolute zoo.
You may not want to hear all this but I owe you an explanation. Your order is important and is in process and should be out the door within the next 7-10 days. I wish it could have been quicker but I can only tell you the truth.
