Todd, will there be a practice tonight?

This is a VERY winnable game for us this Saturday. No question we have the talent to win, we need to make a commitment to put forth effort and get this offense rolling. It is critical to study the play book and rep it out during practice. If you have any questions about the plays, email me or call me. Desire, Heart, and Passion; got to have it….. every practice and every game!

What is the practice schedule for this week? I was at Mondays and some guys have asked me if its tuesday Thursday or wed, Fri Thanks and I liked your note to us about commitment

We will practice thursday night and we will get to the field a little early Sat so that we can go over a few things.Todd

Are we in shorts and helmet on Thurs.?

Yes helmets and shorts on thursday

Chris, Well said brother!!!!!

Hey guys this is not directed at any one player or coach. I would just like to say it has been great playing football this year with you guys and I look forward to next year. I also would like to say the place for personal feelings/post is not here. We all understand the demanding schedules that each of has. (work, family, military, and other things) I hope no one thinks they are better than another person because they sold more tickets or they donated more money.

God judges the heart! Everyone will never be able to do the same amount! To think is to say everyones life situation is the same. Some years we may only be able to do just a little. If the person is giving their all, that is all that matters. I am kinda sad to see these post on a public website, our team website. We should have a meeting and discuss those matters in private. It only serves bad purpose when one bashes his own team publicly. Personal Gratification!

I am very appreciative of those who have done so much (Todd, Bishop, Chris) but I am just as appreciative of those who came out. Or who spread the word about the team or those who speak to the children in the inner city schools about the team. Money Money Money is not everything and I am sure that Steps for Billy would be just as happy if we gave them a 1,000 dollar check or a 10,000 dollar check. Obviously we want to give as much as we can but giving is giving!

So next time a player thinks his deeds are better than anothers. Or feels he is owed some type of due! Stop for a second and think about your real reason for joining this team!

I know I and others joined this team for one reason and one reason only! That was to help people and to give back. Not to be on the news, or the front of the paper or, to brag about how much Money I gave. When divide ourselves we our no longer a team, and what type of message does that send! This team means so much more to the city than about giving money. We had almost 1000 people at the last game. That wasn’t just friends and family. It was the kid who gets suspended from school for fighting or the pro football player, or the family who can only go out once a month cause of finances and they chose to spend it coming to see us PLAY! A TEAM! A TEAM! ROANOKES TEAM! Not made up of athletes, but Men. The same MEN who took a oath to Protect and Serve!

I have included my name and I hope we never ever bash each other again like that last post. We are a team No one man higher than another!

Lets worry about giving Roanoke a win this next game and if you can Sell tickets please do! I will be the first to say I didn’t sell one Baseball Ticket! No excuse will be giving! But I did tell many to attend its for a good cause. I did speak to the kids a Noel C. Taylor about this weekends game The teachers plan on bringing the goods with good behavior. The list could go on and on, and I’m pretty sure others are doing the same.

I am team member #5 Nedd
