Football Practice.

The Roanoke Rampage Fire and Police Football Team has football Practice tomorrow night at 6pm at Washington Park football field, It will be cold and please dress accordingly. Practice will let out around 8pm. See ya on the field!!!!

If you are a first year player you have to Supply your own helmet. The Roanoke Rampage Fire and Police Football team use the Schutt DNA  Pro +. You can buy them at the following stores.

Second year players have to Pay team dues $100.00 per player by Jan 1st!!!!!!!!! This is very cheap to play in this league!!!!!!!

Rampage News

The Roanoke Rampage football team hits the field for the first time tonight to kick off the 2011 season!

All new Players need to talk to Todd Stone ASAP to make sure you get your 2011 paperwork done.

Please try an make all practices that you can. The bitter cold tonight will not be fun. With that said the coaching staff understands when players get cold the learning slows or stops, Some cold nights may be short.

We are looking for an indoor practice area for the next few weeks that we can use at night, If  its to cold we can go in to learn new plays. do we have any players with connections with an indoor gym, basketball court we can use?? ( The Edge will only let us in during the day time)

All payers are reminded that they must supply their own helmet, The helmet must be Maroon with  Maroon Mask, You will need to have helmet by Jan 1st. We use the Schutt DNA Pro+.

Winter is Here!!!!

Winter is here and the Roanoke Rampage Fire and Police football Team have their first Practice tonight at Washington Park Football field. Its going to be very cold and windy, dress accordingly. I am very excited about this season, We have picked up 6 or 7 Offensive linemen and some skilled players for this season that will make us much more competitive. If you are playing this year and you have not done your 2011 paper work please get with Todd Stone ASAP. I will be working on paper work at tonight’s and Thursdays practice. We can not play if i do not get this paper work done and into the league by Jan 1. Thanks Todd

Bad News

I am very Sorry to inform the Roanoke Rampage players that we were unable to get the ACC Tickets for this weekends ACC Championship. The ACC  called us today and said that Florida state had purchased all the tickets that were left and that they had not set the tickets aside for the NPSFL players. The ACC was very sorry for this and promised us that  they will not let this happen to us next year. I am sorry if we got anyone’s hopes up. Todd

We need a Storage building!!!!

The Roanoke Rampage Fire and Police Football team needs a storage building. We are looking for a Donation or a great price on one. I have my Garage full of uniforms ,Coolers and Shoulder pads. We need a building we can put at the union hall to store all of the teams equipment. I am asking all team members to keep there eyes open. Let me know if you come across anything. Thanks. ACC Championship

The Roanoke Rampage football team has been invited to the ACC Championship!Let me know if you would like to go? We would like to take as many firefighters and police officers from the Roanoke area. You do not have to be a Rampage football player to go. We have been asked to have our jerseys on and compete in the TUG OF WAR. The ACC will give a Donation to our Charity Steps for Billy!!! Loss of a CPD Enforcer

The Roanoke Rampage Fire and Police football team would like to send our deepest condolences to the CPD Enforcers.

On 22 November 2010, the CPD Enforcers suffered a loss of a teammate, friend, and brother. P.O. David Blake, a SWAT team member and 15 year veteran of the force was shot and killed in an off duty incident. Dave had been part of the Enforcer family for the past 4 years and was looking forward to his 5th season in 2011. Dave played on our special teams and as a back up running back. He was a great team player and enjoyed every opportunity he was given to play.

Football Practice

Roanoke Rampage football team will hit the field December 6Th @ 6pm to start the 2011 season. We will practice at Washington park football field. Football practice will be very structured this year and will be much different then last year. we will practice on mondays and Thursdays.

Mondays we will Have offensive practice first then transition in to defensive practice. At he end of practice we will work   on punt team and punt return.

Thursdays we will start with defensive practice and transition into offensive practice. We will end with Kick off and kick off return.

I will be getting each football player their pass word to the members only section of the web site in the next week. We will have or Playbook on there. All team members will need to print out the playbook and put it into a 3 ring binder and have their pla book with them at practice!!!
